In 2007 we launched SCOPE (Supply Chain Operations Private Exposition) for the US market with a phenomenally successful first event in Las Vegas in August. The SCOPE events experienced dramatic growth through 2008 and 2009 in terms of educational content; overall attendance and number of exhibitors.
With continued growth for SCOPE anticipated through 2010, Quartz Events have also announced the additions of RetailTec (Retail Solutions Conference) and ConsumerTec (Consumer Goods Solutions Conference) which will be co-located with the SCOPE West 2010 conference and dramatically expand the audience of executive attendees.

Keith Harris
Keith Harris has been organizing trade shows in the Materials Handling sector since 1967 and has launched dozens of successful events over the last 40 years. He was the founding CEO of DMG World Media, a company which now stages 300+ exhibitions annually including around 100 in the US and Canada. Whilst Keith is now semi-retired he still has time to be Chairman of 4 trade show organizing companies including Quartz Publishing & Exhibitions & Quartz Events.
Paul Michael
Paul has worked in the exhibition and trade publishing sector for more than 30 years, he currently is the Managing Director of Quartz Publishing & Exhibitions Ltd based in the UK. He has been involved with the Materials Handling and Logistics industry for the past 15 years and launched the International Materials Handling Exhibition in the UK, now one of the top three exhibitions in Europe. He and Keith work closely with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the British Industrial Truck Association, the latter has affiliations with the Fork Truck Assoc of America. Paul is a family man who in his spare time likes to play golf and socialize. He is a member of a Livery Company in the City of London and was its Master in 2004.
Toby Harris
Toby Harris qualified from one of the UK's premier universities, UMIST with a MSC in Management Science in 1995. The following year he launched Harrion Ltd, a media company specializing in trade publications. With a unique and creative approach to publishing, the business enjoyed tremendous success and quickly established industry leading trade publications in the UK market. Building on this success Toby opened offices in the USA in 1998 and launched into the rest of Europe in 2000. In 2002 Toby based himself out of the US headquarters in California and focused on developing and growing the US side of the business, acquiring great knowledge of the US market in the process. In 2006 the company was sold to dmg world media, one of the world's largest media companies. After taking a year out to travel the world with his family, Toby moved back to California and launched the US division of Quartz Events. He is responsible for managing the expansion and development of the SCOPE series as well as the launches of RetailTec and ConsumerTec.
